Dear all

First of all, I would like to welcome Thomas Lukasiewicz in the Group. We
all know his work in the area and be sure that his contribution will be
really valuable.

I am very happy to hear that Carlos is again available and I would like to
say that from next week I will be on board, too. This happily comes together
with the start of W3C Uncertainty XG. Today, Steve Bratt sent the formal
confirmation e-mail and I think now Ken Laskey will open the XG and arrange
the first meeting. I will keep you informed (since I think that as a AC-rep
of a sponsoring W3C member I will remain informed) and when the official
homepage will open, I think most of you would like to participate (both
Giorgos Stoilos and me will register when the page will be open). The
opening of this XG is something really encouraging, and makes the restarting
of Fuzzy RuleML TG necessary. As you have already mentioned in the XG
charter that Giorgos sent, Fuzzy RuleML TG is considered from URW3 XG as an
important initiative in the area and has been mentioned in the dependencies.
So, our concrete results will also clearly contribute to the XG effort.

I will prepare and send the agenda of the next meeting, next Friday.

[Giorgos Stoilos]

Hi all,

As far as I know Jeff would not be able to make it since he is away. It
would also be very important for all of us to confirm availability or not.

Best,

G. Stoilos

Regards

Giorgos

ps. Gerd, indeed there are good chances for a W3C WG after a successful
URW3. This is the always one of the main options of W3C incubator
activities.

Dear all,

Sorry for the long information blackout. I am restarting my research
activities, namely in RuleML.

We should plan the next immediate steps regarding Fuzzy RuleML.

I suggest defining the semantics for the language, including the
representation of Fuzzy Data (starting from the work of Gerd and Adrian).

The integration with RIF is also important as well as discussing negation.

Best regards,

Carlos
