Hi,

I would like to introduce myself to the list. My name is Mikael 
Berndtsson and I have been involved in active database technology since 
1991.

In the "old days" I extended the ODBMS ONTOS with an ECA rule layer and 
investigated how ECA rules might be used to support cooperation 
strategies in Cooperative Information Systems. Nowadays, I'm interested 
in ECA rule markup languages, stand alone ECA rule engines, and ECA rule 
modeling techniques.

I'm currently involved in the European research network REWERSE 
(together with Gerd W. from this list), and I also try to supply Marco 
Seiriö / ruleCore with relevant research results from the active 
database community.
